We just purchased a...

We just purchased a Brother printer (HL-L1280DW) and it will not print from the computer. There is a connection, because when we order "print" the printer reacts and makes some noises. But then it does nothing; no printing.

Technician's Assistant: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your machine, and what operating system are you running?

Brother HL-L2380DW and we're ordering the printing from a document on our Samsung computer.

Technician's Assistant: Have you installed any updates recently?

We just discovered the problem: We did not know that printed copies could come out from the BACK of the printer, and there they were! So quiet, we didn't notice it. Now, we'll keep the back door shut so our copies will come out the front.
