I have an HP 1200 series printer, and just moved up to Windows 10. Windows 10 calls it an unspecified device, and won't let me add it as a printer. What can I do
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your HP is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: It's at least 15 years old, model is C7044A
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Windows 10
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I bought a new dell machine with Windows 10 on it, and Windows 10 calls the HP 1200 an unspecified device, not recognizing it as a printer
