Printer states "in error state: was priniting yesterday. HP ENVY 7640

Technician's Assistant: Is your HP printer displaying the error on all print jobs, even after you restart it?

It copies, I did restart - hit "print " on the comouter - message "printer in error state

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the printer driver software?

How could I do it?

Technician's Assistant: The Printer Technician will be able to walk you through that. Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Hi,

Thanks for choosing Just Answer. Please follow the below instructions.

Turn the printer on.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the unit.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the unit.
If the printer does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
