Customer Question

I'm getting an error message: 0eX8 It told me to turn off my printer, which I did, and turn it back on, but the error message keeps coming on.
JA: What's the make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Work Force WF-3620
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: pc on windows
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: The printer was skipping lines when printing. Went on online said to clean the heads. I unscrewed the flap over the ink containers, didn't see what to do, so I screwed it back on and replaced the black cartridge because Office Depot said that might be the problem is the ink. Closed everything up. 3 times it said cover wasn't closed. Now this error message comes on.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Terrible printing: light, skips lines; and this error message

Please remove all of the ink cartridges then insert them back firmly into the carriage and close the lid.

Now, with the printer powered on, remove the power cord from the back.

Wait 2 minutes

Plug back in the power cord and power it on
