Hello. Welcome to Just Answer. Please allow me to assist you with your question today. I am John, I will do my very best to help you solve this problem.
The best way to verify if the printer is still alive is connecting it to the computer with its USB cable. Please do that, wait a couple of minutes and try to print.
If that does not work, please download the newest driver for your printer from here ====> https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-3830-all-in-one-printer-series/7172321/model/7172322 <==== CLICK HERE
Download, Install, and then try to print.
If it does not work, or if you are trying to install the printer via wireless, do you know the name and the password ***** your wireless network?
Please do not leave me a negative feedback if you are not satisfied with the manufacturer. I do not work for them.
