Hi! Alternate lines of text are printing blurred. Problem doesnt happen when printing "Best" quality...

Technician's Assistant: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?

Canon MG6400 - 2 years old?

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?

Mac - latest 10.12

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?

At least 6 months... Cant be sure of how it happend

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

I am sorry to hear that. It is strange that it only happens with text and not with images. If you print from a different computer, do you have the same problem?

This problems sounds even more peculiar being that it happens with other computers & phones. I can't think of any reason why this would be happening with all the devices.

For this reason, I am opting out of the question and allowing another expert the chance to help.

Thanks for the sample image, as the other expert had opted out, I will try to help you. The problem you are facing is generally caused due to two reasons, one due to dirty timing or encoder belt or defective logic board, can you try to make a b&w copy of any text document and let me know, what happens?
