Ink alert message and very light printing -- put in new ink cartridge. Now get nothing on page when trying to print.
JA: What is the exact make and model of your printer? And what kind of cartridges are you using?
Customer: hp office jet 6500 printer
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: pc windows 10 using office jet 920xl cartridge
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Printer message ink alert. Page printing very light color. Installed new cartridge. Now nothing printing Had cartridge checked at store. It worked there.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Try a one-page photocopy, in full color though.
