how to Align Print Head using canon imageclass lbp7110cw my color prints have a double shadow, the black/ white only type prints fine, only in color does it print double.
JA: Has your Canon done this before? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: No this a new out of box printer
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: pc wins 10 64
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I have another printer same canon but mf8280cw that it just started happening so I purchused a new printer, same issue.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

The procedure for what is called 'Color Calibration' is described in the manual, c. page 80.

First click once on the 'folder-and-i' icon at the lower right of your screen.

Select the printer (opening the printer's software window.)

Then go to




and run that (by clicking on OK when prompted 'Perform Calibration?'.)

This operation should not be run on cartridges that are low on toner. It will take within 3 minutes for the printer to perform the operation; meanwhile, leave the printer alone.
