My name is David.

To resolve the issue, start by removing the ink cartridges and cleaning the ink cartridge contact points with a wet Q-tip to clean residual dried ink and dust from the contacts. Then install the cartridges again and test to see if the issue is resolved.

Please let me know the result. Also, please provide a positive rating if you are satisfied with the service.

Hi David I cleaned the cartridges with a Q tip but no difference! The 351 was new yesterday as according to my PC that was the cartridge at fault so I changed it.I believe it is the hardware in the printer so I believe a refund will be due. Many thanks for your help. regards Graham ****

Hello Graham,

One more thing you can try is to reset the printer. Please follow the steps below to perform the reset:

  1. Press the Power button () to turn on the printer.

  2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.

  3. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  4. Wait at least 15 seconds.

  5. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

  6. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  7. If the printer does not turn on by itself, press the Power button () to turn it on.

  8. Test to see if the printer now recognizes the ink cartridges.

Please let me know if the reset resolves the issue.
