I cannot print since the sign to change ink appeared - it

Customer Question

hi - i cannot print since the sign to change ink appeared - it won't allow me to go to the menu to click "ok" to proceed. it stays on the "ink out" warning and no other arrows or options are available. i am incredibly frustrated
JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?
Customer: canon pixma - less than a year old
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: printing from a mac i do not know what OS
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: before that pop up warning got stuck in place, disabling proceeding of any kind, i had changed the ink cartridge. i print only in B and W - it is claiming i need to change the empty blue cartridge but i haven't been printing in anything but B and W --- i've changed the black cartridge several times before with no issue
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: i don't know what to do!

Unfortunately, this printer model requires that all ink cartridges are not empty even if you only print in black/white. In order to fix the issue, you will need to replace the blue cartridge that it is requesting.
