Customer Question

I have a WOW Computer. I am trying to set up so I can print on my new Brothers printer HL-L2380DW.. What do I need to do??
JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: The printer is brand new. It is Brothers HL-L2380DW
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: The computer is a WOW, i believe it is using a Lynx system.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I just unpacked the printer and I am trying to get started.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Hello! Thank you for contacting; I am Russell H., an Expert here at, and I will do what I can to answer your question as well as it can be answered.

What is needed to be done is, in outline:

1. determine your WOW computer's Windows version.

2. download the driver for your model of printer

3. install it on your WOW computer.

4. only then, connect your printer - or when the step (3) demands that you do so.

Since you will need to know the exact data for (1), and perhaps where to get (2), I realize you may need advice for those points.

So to find out (1), go to

Control Panel

System and Security

and read off your Windows version there (and the System Type, 32-bit or 64-bit).

With that data, I can also point you to a source for (2). Let me know, please, in Reply To Expert. Thanks.
