Eror code 5700, canon mx700, nothing in the manual, just

JA: Just to clarify, have you double-checked the code? And what is the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: canon mx700
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: nothing in the manual
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: just happened pulled out paper when it started feeding multiple sheets
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: i think pullin out the paper did it back feed tray

Hi!

A new expert here--

Please open any lids on the printer and look for any paper jams.

If you see a jam, please remove the paper. If you do not see a jam, please close the lid(s) then power off the printer.

Unplug the printer from the wall outlet then wait 1 minute.

Plugin the printer and power on the printer then wait another minute.

Check to see if the issue continues.

That did not fix the issue. in fact, I had tried all of those things before but just repeated a second time per your instructions, same result. The printer still gives the error message

I am on the phone with canon and they said it is a hardware failure so phone troubleshooting with you wouldn't help
