Customer Question

Hi, I am trying to scan a document on my Canon 3500 printer and keep getting an error code Code:5.157.69. I have tried to connect via a cable and wifi but nothing! Help!
JA: Has your Canon done this before? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Nope, and I reckon its 15 months old. I recently changed my wifi router from adsl to fiber. Can this have affected it? Though as I say I then tried to connect with a cable and still had the same prob. I'm running Windows 7 btw...
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Pic, windows 7...
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Nothing. I just tried to scan and got the error message. I did update my windows over the past few days from Microsoft site...
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I think that's it, thanx

Can I remotely connect to your computer, so I can troubleshoot this issue with you?

Hey Cody, thanx for the reply, but I fixed it E eventually, so wanted $23! I needed to connect the printer to my new fiber router, that replaced my old adsl one.. I appreciate the quick response though.
Appreciate it,
