I have a PC 720 that I opened and closed to change cart the meshing of gears didn't it shows paper jamb
JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: PC720 FS131700; ser#NVH28759. May be 10 yrs
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: This machine is self contained, no computer required
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: worked fine till I changed out cart
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Am I so far out of date that it can't be fixed with avalible parts

Just to clarify your question.

This is a PRINTER you are talking about ....yes?

And the prinetr is about 10 years old....yes?

And you OPENED the prinetr to Replace the cart (toner cartridge)......yes?

And now you have an error message on the printer that says there is a paper jam.....yes?

And you want to know if this printer is too old to be able to be fixed.....yes?
