JA: Can you guesstimate how old the Pixma is? And has this happened before?
Customer: can I get this printer to default "headers & footers" to ON instead of OFF?
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: I am totally NOT computer smart. I don't know...I'm looking for an answer in my paperwork.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: it has been this way since I bought it and someone installed it for me.

Hi there and welcome

The header and footers is not done by the printer but actually set in the software that you use to make the document in.

It will depend on which software you use, as to whether you can have a default header and footer.

Is the software you use Word?
