JA: Can you guesstimate how old your HP is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: and i have a warning flashiing that says refer to printer documentation
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: my home computer
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?

Can you tell me the specific error code/number showing on the printer?

It may reference the printhead or ink system for example

If it is indicating print cartridge, you have a low/empty ink cartridge that must be replaced before the printer will function. There should be a light or indicator there telling you which one needs to be replaced.
