I have a new Pixma MX922. I tried to print an e-mail. It printed a few pages and stopped showing error 1008. The paper tray is full.

Please follow the steps below to hard reset the printer and let me know, how it goes for you.

Unplug the printer.

Wait for 15 mins.

Reconnect the power cord and power on the printer.

On the printer and on my iPhone where I tried to print from

OK, remove all the papers from the printer then, turn off the printer once more, power on the printer and load the paper, let me know what happens ?

It printed out the e-mail, but I got the same error message when I tried to print another e-mail. I did not fully load paper the paper tray first time, but loaded the tray back up to full the second time and then got the error.

Please press the stop/reset (red triangle within a circle) for 8 secs. and release it and let me know, what happens ?

If you are still getting the error code then, there is no need to print.

The rollers are cleaned but still getting the error.

It seems to be very sensitive to how much paper is in the tray. If I fill it about 1/3 full it prints. I need to end this session.
