Customer Question

I've got the error code 5B02...I know it's the absorber...I've cleaned it. I need to clear the code?!?
JA: Just to clarify, have you double-checked the code? And what is the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: It's a Canon Pixma 432
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC....Operating system? Windows 10?
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I've known about the absorber. Looked about how to clean it. Didn't have a chance and then the code.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

clearing the code is a power cycle, from what i know.

Pulling the power cable.....waiting 1 minute....plug power cable back in.

This allows the memory to drain and reset.

But if the problem REoccur's then the Error Code will Reappear.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I've already done that, I've done the reset for the printer...nothing. I mistakenly thought you were with Canon.

Then the pronblem is still there. If you are still getting the error code.....the problme has NOT been resolved.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I have cleaned the absorber, which is what the error code relates to. Do you have any other suggestions?
Expert:  Quiksilver07070 replied 11 months ago.

I need to pull the Tech manual, and cross reference the Error code to see if any other suggestion exist. Printers are fickle devices.....and if not carefully can easily damage a small sensitive componenet.

please stand-by.
