I have a workforce 2650. I bought it last spring, windows 7.

I have a workforce 2650.
JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?
Customer: I bought it last spring
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: windows 7. i have a generic question. how do i make copies lighter and darker? when i am scaning same thing especially if there are several pages. some lighter some darker
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: not knowing how to do that has been from day 1

not sure why you need the serial number to tell me how to make stuff print lighter and darker, and scan lighter and darker. Don't think there is anything wrong with the machine. its going to be the same for all of those models.
makes me wish i had bought an hp

you can adjust the color settings to do that in the printer driver software settings.

There is no specific light or dark options provided to select on this model.

Epson is definitely not user friendly.
