Give me just a moment to research that error message and we will get started, okay?

Expert:  Jennifer French replied 9 months ago.

It seems in the process of upgrading to Windows 10, the software for your printer may have become corrupted. This would require an uninstall and reinstall of the software. Are you comfortable doing this yourself with instruction from me?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
ok
I did that already. the cnpapgmg.dll is missing.
I went to the Canon website and got the latest driver updates, installed them and rebooted.
Expert:  Jennifer French replied 9 months ago.

You would need to go to the following website.

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/support-laser-printers-imageclass/imageclass-mf4350d

It isn't the drivers that are throwing this error - it is the Toolbox that needs to be reinstalled. It is the third option down from the software and driver download.

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
no--just tell me how to install the file
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I reinstalled it too. do I need to reboot after installing the drivers separately from the toolbox update?
Expert:  Jennifer French replied 9 months ago.

A reboot is recommended after installing drivers, yes.

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I rebooted after installing the drivers and after installing the toolbox. this dll file, from all I have been able to learn, is a Microsoft driver.
Expert:  Jennifer French replied 9 months ago.

Let me do a little more research. Give me just a moment.

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
ok
Expert:  Jennifer French replied 9 months ago.

So far I did confirm that it is a Canon dll file. Let me dig a bit further.

Expert:  Jennifer French replied 9 months ago.

What may need to happen is to completely uninstall all of your Canon files and delete the printer from Devices and Printers in Control Panel. Then, restart the PC and proceed to do a fresh install of the software as if it is a new printer.

Expert:  Jennifer French replied 9 months ago.

It looks like you are not alone in this matter and that seems to be what others did to resolve it. That's what I would do, personally, on my own computer.

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
ok I'll try that.
Expert:  Jennifer French replied 9 months ago.

Please let me know if it works! I'll try to research a little further in the meantime.
