I have a Cannon MX 922 printer that suddenly stopped

I have a Cannon MX 922 printer that suddenly stopped working. The computer cannot find it! I changed the printer cable but it doesn't help
JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: about 18 months old. serial number ADJV52625
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Windows 10 It had been working fine till a few days back
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: As I said, it was working fine earlier. Now when I tried to scan some document a couple of days back, it wouldn't recognize the printer. Tried to print something, but couldn't. Bought a new printer cable, but that didn't help either
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
