Brighthouse changed modem and I can't get it on line. I think the password *****?
JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?
Customer: HP Office jet 4650
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC, windows 10, it had been working until modem change
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Since modem had to be changed out by Brighthouse
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

I'm sorry about the issue. Is the issue with wireless printing?

Are you able to go to the Wireless settings on your printer's screen in order to connect it to the new modem's wireless / wi-fi network name?

Here are the full steps:

  1. Make sure the printer is powered on.

  2. On the printer's screen, touch the Wireless / signal icon .

  3. Touch the Settings / gear icon .

  4. Touch the option Wireless Setup Wizard

  5. Select your Wi-Fi / wireless network name, and enter your wi-fi / wireless password ***** prompted.

  6. Then check printing.

- Note: Your Wi-Fi / wireless password ***** ***** at the back / bottom of your internet modem device. It is case-sensitive. If there is still issue with your wireless password, please let me know the model of your modem, so I can troubleshoot the issue further.
