Epson xp-430 bought in August. Cannot change paper type to

Epson xp-430 bought in August. Cannot change paper type to plain paper. Rolls thru Glossy, Premium Semi-Gloss and Ultra Glossy. Plain paper not an option. I am going thru settings to change paper size to 5x7.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Epson is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: Epson XP-430 bought Aug 2016.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC Windows 10. Problem stated happens when using scanner/printer to make a copy as stand alone, with PC off.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Started yesterday, while trying to make 5x7 scanned copies. Nothing happened since making scanned copies previously.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Here is my suggestion:

Follow the information on this document:

You want to reset everything EXCEPT Network Settings.

See if you are able to print onto the paper that you have chosen.

If that doesn't work,

follow these instructions to the T:

With both of these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue.
