Am setting up a new Epson SureColor P600. Am at the Print

Am setting up a new Epson SureColor P600. Am at the Print test page stage, but it will not print it and I am given the message, "initial ink charging is not complete" What should I do?
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Epson is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: Epson SureColor P600 and it is brand new, just out of the box.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Mac desktop with latest operating system, 10.10 I think
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I just opened the box and set it up yesterday afternoon. Installed the driver and utilities last evening and tried printing the test page then - have tried again this morning.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I tried removing each cartridge, shaking it gently 6 - 8 times, carefully reinstalled the cartridge, allowed an hour to charge, but still get the same message that initial ink charging is not complete. Can not print test page.
