About a week ago my printer stopped scanning. When I try it says: Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons. Then it lists many reasons. Our wi-fi is connected so it isn't that. I don't know what to do.
JA: What is the machine's exact make and model? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Cannon MG6821
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: MacOS sierra 10.12
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I tried about a week ago and it wouldn't scan. The printer says " processing... please wait momentarily." On my computer screen it says "searching for scanners.'
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
