I don't have a printer, I have a Powershot SX530 HS camera, and I need help with a faulty wireless connection between it and my computer. Who should I ask for help?
JA: What's the exact make and model of the camera? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Canon Powershot SX530 HS, less than a year old.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC, Windows 10
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It started two nights ago, last time I used the camera was about two months ago and it worked fine.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

This issue might occur if your device is not Compatible with Windows 10.

I suggest you to install the drivers in Compatibility mode and then try to download the photos.

I recommend you to reinstall the drivers in Compatibility mode and check if it works.

  1. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
  2. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select Windows 8.1 operating system from the drop down.
  3. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
