If ink leaked out all inside the printer, you might have gotten ink on the electrical contacts (in the printer) that touch the ink cartridges.
If this happens, and a contact is covered with ink, then electrical current cant pass through that contact properly if at all.
This will cause the ink cartridge to perform poorly, or not at all.
I suggest you remove ALL ink cartridges, and locate the electrical contacts in the printer that corrrespond with the ink cartridges.
Clean the contacts with Q-tips (lots and lots of Q-tips) and some alcohol.
DO NOT USE ALOT OF ACLOHOL.......just enough to wet the tip of the Qtip.....you DO NOT want to drip the alcohol inside the printer.
If you dont think you can do this.......take the printer into a shop and have them do it.
There are a few things in ther printer that can be damaged just by touching it the wrong way.
SO unless you have some idea of what you are doing.......i dont reccomend you do this.
But thats where you shoudl start.
Clean out the ink inside the printer. CAREFULLY......and METHODICALLY
