Customer Question

I have a Canon pixma MG320 printer and have purchased a new HP laptop computer without a CD drive. Is there a way to download the printer software to my computer without using the installation CD?
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your HP is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: It's a HP envy x360, purchased August 2016.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC, with Windows 10.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: This is a new issue- as I indicated, I'd like to install my Canon Pixma MG5320 software onto this new HP laptop, but my laptop does not have a CD drive. Is there a way to download the printer software without using the installation CD?
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No, that's it. Thanks!

You may download the software that is required from the following page: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/support-inkjet-printer/mx-series/pixma-mx320

On the aforementioned page, click the "Drivers & Downloads" link. Then you will be given the software, which you can choose to download.

The direct download for the file is found here: http://tinyurl.com/CanonPixmaMG320

there has been a miscommunication. The website I have been directed to is for the canon pixma MX5320. However, I have the canon pixma MG5320. Can I ask to be directed to the correct website? Thanks.
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 9 months ago.

I have clicked both websites. They both bring me to the MX320. In the question, you stated that it was for the MX320. The information for the MG5320 is found below.

Drivers: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mg-series-inkjet/mg5320

There are no drivers for Windows 10, so you will have to download and run the drivers fro Windows 8.1 (x64) instead, which will also work.
