It says that it is offline on my computer, I restarted both

It says that it is offline on my computer
JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?
Customer: I restarted both my computer and printer as well
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: HP Officejet 6700 Premium. On a Mac.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I had some issues connecting to the printer yesterday...
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Then suddenly it worked last night to print This morning it is finding the printer as it was a "last used" printer, but says it is offline

Is this printer connected with USB or a network connection?

Network connection. Other people can print off of it, but the printer is not found on my Mac

Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist. Are you using a dual-band (2.4 Ghz and 5Ghz)

router? I don't know of any 5Ghz wireless printers but almost every recent Mac has 5Ghz capability.

If the Mac is connected to a 5Ghz network and the printer to a 2.4Ghz network, the Mac won't be able to see it.
