Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

It is suggested that you also unplug the printer, and leave it unplugged from power for at least 15 minutes, to cool off and reset.

Meanwhile, examine the interior for any scrap of paper or sign of a problem... inside where the cartridge carriage moves back and forth, and also the paper trays.

Also delete any print jobs from the printer queue on your computer.

Then, when the printer switches On, is it free of an error message?

Let me know how it goes, please. Thanks.

Plugged it back in. still coming up error code 6202
Expert:  Russell H. replied 9 months ago.

OK. How old is the Kodak printer in question?

Where did the paper jam in it, and was that paper removed easily and completely?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
There wasn't a paper jam. It just reported an error that there was. After fiddling with it a bit I got rid of the paper jam message and then error code 6202 came up. . This one is 2 year old.

Shall I just buy a new printer???
Expert:  Russell H. replied 9 months ago.

It appears to have gotten flakey.

If you could get the error to go away, what is suggested is that you do a firmware update, which might help. The rub is, the error isn't going away.

A new printer (unless you want to spend money to fix this one) might be the only practical recourse, I regret to say. (Did you by chance buy an extended warranty or extended service plan with the printer? if so, appealing to that coverage would be ideal.)

I'm sorry this case has come to such a conclusion. Let me know if there is any other information or advice you need. Thanks.
