my x5650 all in one will not scan documents to the computer
JA: What is the machine's exact make and model? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: no, I have lost my back up disk
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Dell pc, with free windows 10
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I got a driver download from Lexmark sometime ago, scanning is the only thing I can't do
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Sounds like the issue could be a driver issue. Can you tell me, if you go to http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&docLocale=en_US&id=DR23660 for Windows 10 64 bit, or http://support.lexmark.com/index?docLocale=en_US&page=content&id=DR23605&locale=EN&userlocale=EN_US for Windows 10 32 bit, and install, does the scanner now work?
