I am unable to print black type on my NX430 Ruth
JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?
Customer: NX430 Model # C461A
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: From PC Microsoft 10
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: This has been a problem for ages. I keep trying to fix it, but can't. Research says I need a new driver?
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I want to be able to print -hard copies, from my email (*****@******.***) from my documents, everywhere. Now i only get some color parts no black type

Will it print in color only? or are you having an issue with color too?

Josh, Help me to make this correction myself. I cannot print any document from email or my files. I only get a few lines in weak color on the paper.

Yes, I am here. This is the first time hearing back from you.

  1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the product.
  2. Press the home button, then press the arrow buttons to select Setup and press the OK button.
  3. Press the arrow buttons to select Maintenance and press the OK button.
  4. Press the OK button.
  5. Press the start button.
  6. Check the printed pattern to see if there are gaps in the lines.
  7. Do one of the following:
    • If there are no gaps, select Finish Nozzle Check and press the OK button.
    • If there are gaps or the pattern is faint, select Head Cleaning and press the OK button to continue.
  8. Follow the instructions on the screen to repeat the process as necessary.
