I have a problem with trying to copy using the df. I have

Hi Pearl I have a problem with trying to copy using the df. I have made sure the epson scan app is set at office mode. the message is that the scan will be via the flatbed glass 'with these settings. The pdf icon in the top right corner of the printer screen is lit. Scanner + pdf works fine. any advice welcome.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Epson is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: sorry XP-830, bought a few months ago.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: MAC El Capitan

Customer: Nothing I can say unhelpfully. I had been printing docs from the web., OK.
