I have an Epson WorkForce 545 that will not allow me to scan

I have an Epson WorkForce 545 that will not allow me to scan and save anything. It says that I am missing Awd.dll file. I uninstalled my printer, went to the website and downloaded and installed all the components. It still will not allow me to save. I am also not able to see the preview in the scan mode as before. I did work around what I needed it for the other day by faxing the info that I wanted to put into an e-mail so that part is working as usual. Could you guide me in finding this file. I think I have it narrowed down to the scanner software, but have no idea where to get it or where it would go.
