Canon MG 7500 Series Using a 13" MacBook Air. Prints fine

Customer Question

Canon MG 7500 Series
Using a 13" MacBook Air . Prints fine since I upgraded to 10 11.6. When I go to scan I get an error message "Scanner Turned Off or USB cable is disconnected".
Since the unit prints the cable is in place and communicating. It is just the scanning issue which displays Code 15,156,0
Any Ideas?

I'm sorry about the issue. What's the name of the application you use for scanning?

If you open the Image Capture application, is it able to scan?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you,

I select scan from the printer control panel and it uses the software that came with the printer. The IJ scan utility comes to the computer screen. I select photo and then I get the error message.
