IT SEEMS THAT I CAN'T GET IT TO CONNECT WITH MY COMPUTER. I AM ON WINDOWS 8 AND I CAN'T SEEMS TO FIND MYCOMPUTER TO RUN THE DVD, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG. BRENDA

Customer: THE CANNON IS PIXMAPIXX920 SERIES BRAND NEW, COMPUTER IS WINDOWS8
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I'VE TRIED PUTTING THE DISK IN THE DRIVE BUT IT DOES NOT RUN AUTO

Please make sure first of all, that you can open File Explorer (the folder-like icon at the bottom left of the screen, perhaps.)

Then look for the DVD drive in that display. It ought to be in the list of drives at the lower left of the 'File Explorer' window.

Double-click upon the DVD drive's icon there, to start the DVD installer routine.
