Hello, my name is ***** ***** I'll be assisting you today.

Sometimes, there may be debris that you cannot see. When there is a paper jam, it will lock the unit in print mode so that other features won't work.

Try this:

Please try the following to see if we can resolve your issue:

1. Turn the printer off.

2. Unplug the power from the printer for at least 5-10 minutes. This will rid the unit of any static that may be causing an issue as well. It happens this time of year.

3. While unplugged, remove any paper from the unit.

4. Double check for any obstructions found in the unit or paper paths and document feeder.

5. If no obstructions are found, plug the power back in and turn the unit on.

You can use canned air if you need to clear out any debris that you cannot see.

Essentially, if this doesn't work, then the printer will probably need to be serviced.

I hope that helps.
