Hello! My name is ***** ***** I'll be assisting you today.

Hope is not lost yet.

Here is my suggestion.

Unplug the printer and leave it unplugged for 10 minutes. This will reset the printer and get rid of any static inside the unit.

Plug it back in DIRECTLY into the wall plug. Try another plug to be absolutely sure it isn't an issue with power flow.

If it works, great. If it doesn't, it is going to be one of two issues. A fuse or a circuit board.

Canon printers don't really have fuses so it would be safe to say that it is a board and if this printer is out of warranty, then your best, ***** ***** efficient choice would be to purchase another.

If you find my answer to be helpful, please rate it with at least 3 stars so that I may receive credit and continue assisting more people like you!

Thank you for using Just Answer. Have a good day/evening!
