Customer Question

I inadvertently printed a 607 page document. I do not know how to stop the printer from printing this document. I cancelled it in the printer by hitting the red X. That stopped the printing. but the doc is still in the queue. How do I stop it and remove it from queue?
Please!!! and thank you

Hi Howard, thank you for contacting My name is***** will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

The operation of clearing a print queue on Windows is simple:

go to Control Panel (e.g. Start button, then Control Panel.)

Then go to

then go to

View Devices and Printers

and find your printer's icon there.

Double-click on the printer icon.

That opens the print queue wnidow. You first click on the print job, then use the menus near the top of the print queue window for your printer, to Clear All Jobs.

And after a half-minute, that should do it.

I would advise you to turn Off the printer too, or it will try to print whatever was sent to it but not printed that is still in its memory.
