Hi, my name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today.

Hi. My 4200C is 8 years old, so my question was can it be revived and how
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hold on. I thought a satisfactory answer is $23.

It can possibly be fixed. You can take the cartridges out, put them back in, turn off the printer, unplug it, then plug it back in and that may resolve it. If that doesn't work, it is probably a sensor, or there may be gunk on the sensor that detects the cartridge.

Did it charge you more than what you agreed to? Unfortunately, I don't see that side of it.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it says that it would cost me an additional $39. I'd rather buy a new one...

Oh no. That's if we remote into your system.

Expert:  Jennifer French replied 1 year ago.

And I agree, if it came to that, which in this case it wouldn't, I would tell you to purchase another before I would ever do that.

I'm an honest technician - it's a my best asset and my worst. LOL

I tried your suggestion and it didn't help.

Then, yes, your printer may need a proper burial. It has lived a good life.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
OK. This is an honest answer even though a not satisfactory one.
I agree to pay $5 for it.

That's is absolutely fine with me. I will send this to a moderator and have them adjust it for you, since I don't have that ability. They usually take care of it right away.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Good. In case of any misunderstanding, how the moderator can be reached?
