My printer is an HP Officejet Pro 8610 and keeps saying

My printer is an HP Officejet Pro 8610 and keeps saying error status..cannot print
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your OfficeJet is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: One year
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?

If you remove the ink tanks, and then unplug the printer from power ( dont just turn it off )

Wait two minutes, then plug it back in ( without the ink tanks )

What message do you get then?

no message just looks ready to go I do have it listed as HP Officejet Pro 8610 (copy 1) I don't know why

The in k cartridges, did you try removing them as I mentioned to see if when you power down and power up without the ink cartridges, if you still get the error message?
