Hi there and welcome

I am not sure if you did the clean in the ccorrect manner, so please review my instructions below and ensure this is exactly what you did please

  • Lift the lid to where the connections cable is.
  • Clean the clear strip on the carriage assy.

Like displayed here

  • Check the print cartridge inside make sure it`s inserted properly.
  • Verify that something has not stopped the carriage from moving across the paper correctly.
  • Verify there is no scraps caught on either side of the carriage assembly.

Then close up the printer and tell me if the error clears please

now getting error 35 unable to clean when I try to print
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.

Ok, have you opened it and checked for any paper? Even a small piece can cause a jam which brings this error.

If you have a vacuum cleaner, use this and try to dislodge anything stuck in there.

Let me know please

Used the vacuum, checked for paper, back to 'unable to print 36'
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.

ok, Can you please remove the power to the printer (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the printer, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Let me know the results please

It is the internal printhead that has faulted, this now confirms it
