Customer Question

Just replaced the drum and belt on a Brother HL-4150CDN printer. Now it is telling us we need to replace the PFKit MP and Fuser. Is there a reset button or something we can do continue using the machine. Do these items really need to be was working fine before. Thank you.

You may be able to reset the consumables errors without replacing the items.
1st step – Open the front cover of your Brother HL-3070/Brother HL-4570CDW/Brother HL-4150CDN laser printer where you can access its Brother TN210 toner cartridges.
2nd step – Press the Cancel & Secure Print buttons at the same time to see the toner menus on the screen.
3rd step – Press the “+” or “-” in order to navigate through to the toners you need to reset. Hit “Y” to reset the newly installed toner cartridges. Scroll through and repeat for each toner cartridges color as necessary.
4th step – Hit the OK button when prompted to see the reset menu for the durable parts of the printers. It will display the reset counters for your printer’s drum, fuser and etc. Select and click ok. Let your printer initialize the command and once it’s done you can now resume to your print job.
