Hi, I can help answer the question.

Expert:  WesPCDr replied 1 year ago.

The issue occurs when the print head becomes clogged and needs to be cleaned.

The "Clean Printhead Maintenance" tool can be ran to try and unclog the print head.

This command is usually available in the printer console buttons, please let me know if you need the instructions to find the tool.

Hi, my name is ***** ***** I will do my best to assist you.

Honestly, if you have already washed and dried the printhead and it still cant print black. Then that printhead needs to be replaced. Which is easy enough to do, you just need the part.

You can get a refurbished printhead here cheaply.

Or a new genuine hp printhead here

The printhead definitely needs to be replaced. Printheads fail. And since youve already did a manual cleaning its clear your printhead must be replaced.

I strive to provide great service, and greatly appreciate a rating of excellent ( 5 stars ) selected and submitted below this answer or at the top right of the screen. I always answer follow up questions.
