My printer, will not print...
My printer, will not print, the alarm light still on also says in window wrong cartridriges?
These cannon ink cartridge same type I have used for years. It let me print pic's for christmas but will not print letter from word?

ok did you replace cartridge after which you started getting wrong cartridge message

remove the cartridge...turn off the unit....unplug the power cable...manually slide the carriage assembly\ printhead back and forth

clean the golden contacts of the cartridges and the printhead with a cotton swab dipped in little alcohol

ensure that you have removed the packing tape from the cartridges
once these steps have been done, keep the ON button pressed for 10 secs

then plug in power cord and turn on printer

let me know if error repeats or goes off

No because they were brand new , Had just replaced before Christmas to print pictures, which I did. when I check which printer I am connected too , that shows to be correct?

also are you using canon ink or generic ones

My black ink is cannon, the colors are Staples, ( I do not see any golden contacts on the colored ones)
The error code still says "wrong cartridge" and also something about a letter size?

ok...click start..control panel..device and printers..right click on printer icon...click on print test page

right click on printer icon..click on see whats printing...in the print queue window click on file menu and click on cancell all documents

then right click on printer icon..click on print test page

let me know if test page prints or not

download the file and open\run elsinore screen connect

allow it to install
