My Canon Image Runner 2010f starts out with a very light

Customer Question

My Canon Image Runner 2010f starts out with a very light (almost invisible) print and then after about 8 lines will go back to normal print. It appears when starting out there is stress on the top with "wheel" marks too. What do you suggest I do?

Hi Anita,

Ensure you are using a genuine Canon toner cartridge.

Shake the cartridge and then try printing again.

If that does not help, then try cleaning the fuser.

It is also possible that the laser itself is failing, or the lens is dirty, but a faulty cartridge or dirty fuser are the most likely causes.
