Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble, Shirley.

Do you ever see any smoke?

It is normal for there to be some smell from a laser printer, not so much a burning smell, but more a "heat" smell, as the fixer unit assembly has to get quite hot to fuse the toner to the paper. That is also why copies are warm when they come out.

Is what you are experiencing significantly beyond this?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Copies are not usable. Paper is crinkled over entire surface. There are two marks down the length of the page that look like roller marks. Print is smeared. I have never seen any smoke.

Thanks for confirming. How long have you had the machine for?
