pixma pro10 prints wave scratches on document - like someone took a comb and srapped it. I have cleaned and deep cleaned and the problem still persists.

there should be a way to do a nozzle test that might shed some light on it.

but my feeling is that one of the nozzles is clogged beyond the automatic routine to fix

you should be able to remove the print head and clean it manually

remove the cartridges

then there should be a single locking lever

release that and the printhead that they sit in pulls right up and out

soak that in warm water changing the water every few hours until it stops changing color

then let it dry thoroughly

replace it in the printer and replace the cartridges

you might need to do one more auto cleaning to get it primed again

if it doesnt work at that point you probably need a new print head.

The machine is new. I don't think it it is a print head - it looks like a rake scraped the page. It is in the same place

Look for a very small piece of paper stuck under the print head

Do an alignment. It should be in the same place as the cleaning on the menu
