Customer Question

What is the problem when the carriage makes a squeaking and binding or grinding noise when it goes to the right on the HP T1100? When I lift the front of the carriage slightly, everything is normal and it does not make that noise.

The bar might be dirty and need to be cleaned. Try using a paper towel to remove any dirt. You may also need to buy some extra grease to put on the bar as it might be too dry from the dust.
