So I guess we could sum it up that the two model lines you are asking about, though somewhat similar superficially, are quite different enough inside, in the print engine, that you cannot use supplies from one in the other, usually.
The comparison, note, was more or less that, "OCE copier of this model, may be compared with K-M C650, rather than compared with a Xerox such-and-such'. In other words, resemblance between the two, rather than identity or 'identicality'.
